Founder, Laucata Adventures

Carlotta is a Quechua entrepreneur and community leader from Huilloc, Peru, whose work is rooted in cultural continuity, language, and ancestral knowledge.

She is the founder of Laucata Adventures, a community-based initiative that shares Quechua traditions, craft, and ways of life through immersive experiences grounded in her territory.

Our connection began through a shared commitment to honoring Indigenous ways of life in the present. This collaboration is grounded in dialogue, consent, and a long-term relationship rather than a single moment of documentation.

Any work developed together will remain in conversation with her community and guided by their perspectives.

Wa.tu.chi is a Quechua led collective working to protect language, agricultural knowledge, and cultural continuity in the Andes.

Tongues of the Earth works with Wa.tu.chi through long term, relationship based exchange grounded in reciprocity, listening, and shared values. Our collaboration is shaped by trust rather than predetermined outcomes, allowing story, representation, and pace to emerge through dialogue and consent, rather than extraction or urgency.

This partnership reflects a core principle of the project. Cultural survival is sustained through presence, respect, community, and continuity.
